Does shearing cause harm for the sheep

Shearing is a normal part of animal care. Modern shearing methods are designed to protect the animal, and regular shearing is necessary for welfare because wool grows continuously. Our suppliers follow recognised shearing codes of practice, and these are monitored.

Does Lanaco supply chain involve factory farming

There is no factory farming in our supply chain. All sheep supplying our wool live outdoors throughout the year on open pasture. These farms operate extensive, free-range systems where animals graze on natural grasslands.
