What is InvisibleMist™ technology?
Blueair's advanced InvisibleMist™ Technology delivers clean moisture by trapping water impurities in the wick filter, releasing pure water vapor with no mist into the air².
How often do I need to replace the wick filter?
We recommend every 6 months. The filter indicator on the interface of your humidifier and in the Blueair app will notify you when it is time to replace your filter.
How long will the Blueair Humidifier run for?
Your humidifier will deliver up to 48 hours** of clean moisture. Runtime is based on 77°F & 50% RH in night mode. Actual runtime may vary with different room conditions.
Do I have to use filtered water in the Blueair Humidifier?
No you don’t! Thanks to the anti-microbial filter, you can use tap water with confidence as it traps minerals & pollutants.
What is the warranty on the Blueair Humidifier?
Register your product to extend the 1-year warranty to a 3-year warranty.
Why is the low water indicator on my humidifier not turning off even though I have added water to the tank?
If the low water hasn’t turned off after filling the water reservoir, manually adjust the fan speed on the humidifier by pressing the fan speed button on the device or through the app.
This will draw water into the pump and allow the sensor to detect the recently added water. The low water indicator will then turn off, and you can set the fan back to your desired speed or return to Auto mode.
Why do my humidity readings look different on other devices?
Humidity sensors can vary depending on where they’re placed. For best results, keep them away from windows, vents, and right next to the humidifier—and give them time to settle.
My humidifier only raised humidity a little… is that bad?
Not at all. In super-dry air, even a small bump (like 5–10%) means your humidifier is doing its job. The air is soaking up moisture as fast as it’s added.

Outstanding customer service
When it came time to change my filter, I mistakenly throughout the filter holder with the filter before I got the replacement filter. I realized my mistake when the replacement filter arrived. The staff at BlueAir were amazing and so very, very helpful and kind. This is on top of the fact that the machine itself works exactly as described, no issues for an entire season. Highly recommend.
