VOC sensors detect volatile organic compounds (VOCs)—gases released into the air from many everyday products and activities, including household cleaners, paints and solvents, cooking odors, fragrances, and personal care products.
VOC readings indicate the presence and concentration of gases, not whether those gases are harmful at typical household levels. A temporary rise in VOC levels during fragrance use is common and usually decreases once diffusion stops or fresh air is introduced into the room.
If you see a VOC spike after using aroma oils, it means:
The sensor is functioning as intended
Fragrance-related gases have been detected
The purifier may automatically increase fan speed to help refresh the air
VOC levels should gradually return to normal once the source is removed. To minimize spikes, avoid placing aroma diffusers directly next to air purifiers.
Healthcare professionals often advise caution when using aroma oils around infants and children under three years old. If you choose to use aroma oils in a home with babies, we recommend the following precautions:
Use lower concentrations and avoid direct use in a baby’s room or play area
Limit exposure time and ensure the space is well ventilated

Pets can be more sensitive than humans to aromatic compounds. Using aroma oils around pets may cause respiratory irritation in some cases. If you choose to diffuse aroma oils in a home with pets, we recommend the following precautions:
Avoid diffusing oils in areas where pets sleep, eat, or spend extended time
Ensure good ventilation and allow pets to leave the room if needed
If your pet has known respiratory sensitivities, consult your veterinarian before use
Never apply aroma oils directly to a pet’s skin or fur.

I thoroughly enjoyed using these scents to elevate the smell in my home and lift or relax my daily mood. The lavender was my absolute favorite for relaxing. Very unique scents that would work well for anyone.
I love adding a few drops of essential oils to the removable stone and turning on the humidifier about 15 minutes before I head to my bedroom. Not only is the room perfectly scented for relaxation the hum of the white noise lulls me to sleep. The perfect combination!
