The Blueair aroma stone is a porous stone that slowly releases essential oils into the air. Add your favorite scent to gently infuse calm, creating a perfectly balanced atmosphere for restful days and restorative nights.

We recommend adding 3–6 drops of essential oils. This amount provides the right balance of fragrance without overwhelming the senses or overusing the oils.

The wick filter designed to deliver 1 year of clean, consistent performance. After that time, we recommend replacing it to ensure your air stays as fresh as possible.

The flashing orange light means the water level is low. Refill the humidifier using either the bucket or top-fill method. Once refilled, the light will stop flashing and the unit will keep running normally!

Humidity sensors can vary depending on where they’re placed. For best results, keep them away from windows, vents, and right next to the humidifier—and give them time to settle.

Not at all. In super-dry air, even a small bump (like 5–10%) means your humidifier is doing its job. The air is soaking up moisture as fast as it’s added.

VOC sensors detect volatile organic compounds (VOCs)—gases released into the air from many everyday products and activities, including household cleaners, paints and solvents, cooking odors, fragrances, and personal care products.

VOC readings indicate the presence and concentration of gases, not whether those gases are harmful at typical household levels. A temporary rise in VOC levels during fragrance use is common and usually decreases once diffusion stops or fresh air is introduced into the room.

If you see a VOC spike after using aroma oils, it means:

The sensor is functioning as intended
Fragrance-related gases have been detected
The purifier may automatically increase fan speed to help refresh the air

VOC levels should gradually return to normal once the source is removed. To minimize spikes, avoid placing aroma diffusers directly next to air purifiers.

Healthcare professionals often advise caution when using aroma oils around infants and children under three years old. If you choose to use aroma oils in a home with babies, we recommend the following precautions:

Use lower concentrations and avoid direct use in a baby’s room or play area
Limit exposure time and ensure the space is well ventilated
Consult your child’s pediatrician for personalized guidance

Pets can be more sensitive than humans to aromatic compounds. Using aroma oils around pets may cause respiratory irritation in some cases. If you choose to diffuse aroma oils in a home with pets, we recommend the following precautions:

Avoid diffusing oils in areas where pets sleep, eat, or spend extended time
Ensure good ventilation and allow pets to leave the room if needed
If your pet has known respiratory sensitivities, consult your veterinarian before use

Never apply aroma oils directly to a pet’s skin or fur.
